Everyone Has a Story
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Pressed but Not Crushed is a forum for California Baptists to share their redeeming God-Stories; experienced through the difficult seasons of life. In these testimonies, we strive to encourage others in the family to “not lose heart,” for we remember that “our troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” In those moments when one might otherwise feel alone in their valley, we know others have gone before and have wisdom and encouragement to offer. The sharing of our God-Stories shines a light on the darkness, revealing the truth that we were never alone. Above all, Pressed but Not Crushed sets its highest aim at giving ultimate glory to the Father of Lights, the Giver of every good and perfect gift; the One from whom there is never a shifting shadow.
