This event will train and encourage pastors and leaders to engage their community with the Gospel. Relationships will be created and strengthened through breakout sessions and leaders will be equipped to better lead their congregation in fulfilling their mission.
Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel, the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune, is a New York Timesbest-selling author of more than 40 books and curricula that have sold 14 million copies. He currently serves as founding director of the Lee Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics at Colorado Christian University.
Mark Mittelberg is the best-selling author of “The Questions Christians Hope No One Will Ask (with answers)” and “The Reason Why Faith Makes Sense.” He is also the primary creator of the celebrated “Becoming a Contagious Christian” curriculum, which has been translated into more than 20 languages and used to train 1.5 million people around the world. Mark was on the leadership team at the Willow Creek Association in Chicago for many years, and now co-directs (with Lee Strobel) The Institute at Cherry Hills in Denver.
Shawn Beaty is the senior pastor at Clovis Hills Community Church in Clovis. In 1995 Shawn left a record deal and a career as a professional musician to begin pastoral ministry full time. Shawn holds a bachelor of arts degree in organizational psychology, a masters of divinity degree and a doctor of ministry degree. He has been married to his wife, Kellie, for 20 years. In his spare time he enjoys music, motorcycles, surfing, snowboarding, golf and playing with his kids.
Miles McPherson is the pastor of The Rock Church in San Diego. A former defensive back for the San Diego Chargers, McPherson also is an author, actor, motivational speaker and founder of DoSomethingChurch.org. He is a unifier who makes the hope of the gospel real, relevant, and accessible to empower people to make a difference in the world.
