Sarah Merkle

Sarah E. Merkle is the blog editor and primary contributor for The Law of Order: A Resource on Parliamentary Procedure & the Law. She is also the founder and CEO of Civility, LLC. Sarah has achieved credentials including Certified Professional Parliamentarian -Teacher (CPP-T), and Professional Registered Parliamentarian (PRP).

Sarah graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Law and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Henry F. Floyd on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. While in law school, she was editor-in-chief of the South Carolina Law Review and named USC’s Outstanding Law Student of the Year by the National Association of Women Lawyers.

She has served countless national, regional, state, and local clients, supplying the knowledge they need to make sound decisions in an efficient manner. Her extensive public speaking and teaching experience enable her to clearly explain complex concepts to all types of audiences.
