Dr. Matthew Lee “Doc” Smith

Dr. Matthew Lee "Doc" Smith Doc is the associate pastor of First Southern Baptist Church, Gardena. He is also the executive director of Eagles In Leadership, a global ministry dedicated to training men and women in discipleship, leadership, and marriage for global expansion. Doc is the author of seven books and two journals, a seminary professor, Church consultant, and blogger.  His passion for the word of God has encouraged him to read the Bible nearly 50 times, cover-to-cover. He is the husband to Kate, a Ugandan from East Africa, and from their two adult, married girls, they are blessed with nine grandchildren 4 boys and 5 girls.
