SoCal Baptist Ministries exists for the sole purpose of giving missions and ministry grants to California Southern Baptist churches and their related organizations and ministries.

The president of California Baptist Foundation reported the organization’s “primary function is managing dollars for Kingdom purposes” and noted an increase in charitable trusts and endowments of more than 100 percent over the past 10 years.

During its winter meeting directors of Strongtower Financial, Inc. voted to dissolve the church financing subsidiary of California Baptist Foundation, while Foundation directors adopted seven guiding principles for the 60-year-old organization.
