Kevin Ezell
President, North American Mission Board

With a heart for pastors and a passion for the gospel, Kevin Ezell serves as the President of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). NAMB mobilizes Southern Baptist churches for their next step in missions in North America. During his tenure, Kevin has led NAMB and Southern Baptists to plant more than 9,400 churches. At this rate, by 2030, one-third of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) will have been planted in the last 20 years. NAMB’s 3 Circles tool is now in the hands of more than two million people, making it the most used evangelism resource in NAMB’s history. Through Send Relief – the compassion ministry arm of the SBC – NAMB operates 20 ministry centers across the U.S. and Canada connecting people in need with people who care, all with the goal of leading people to a life in Christ. Prior to joining NAMB, Kevin served as the senior pastor of churches in Texas, Illinois and his native Kentucky. He is married to his wife Lynette, whom he met on the campus of their alma mater, Union University. They have six children and seven grandchildren. He is a so-so golfer and a big fan of Kentucky Wildcat basketball.
